What do Berwick's street trees do to car paint?
High Street follows the old Princes Highway through Berwick Village, and the poplars that line it towards Beaconsfield were planted as an Avenue of Honour for soldiers who died in the First World War. The older streets near the village sit under mature deciduous trees too. Good to live among, hard on a car parked underneath.
Sap and bird droppings
Both land overnight and both get worse in the sun. Sap sets hard and grips the clear coat. Bird droppings are acidic, and once they have baked on they can etch a dull patch into the paint. A hand wash shifts the fresh ones. Hardened sap is what the paint decontamination step in our Cut & Polish is for, and an etched mark needs the machine polish that follows it. A deep etch may fade without disappearing completely.
Autumn leaves

If the car is one you plan to keep, a 10H ceramic coating puts a protective layer over the clear coat, so sap and droppings sit on the coating first and wash off more easily. It doesn't stop them landing.
Can you detail my car while I'm at work in Berwick?
Yes, if the site allows it. A car that sits all day at a school, at Casey Hospital or St John of God on Kangan Drive, or at the Federation University campus on Clyde Road can be detailed while you work. Two conditions: whoever manages the car park has to agree, and the bay needs room to open every door. Some sites say no. Then we come to your driveway instead.
At home we work on driveways, in carports and in garages with space around the car, from the older streets near Berwick Village to the newer housing further south. Most packages need neither your power nor your water. If a job does need one, we tell you when you book.
